Before booking any performer for your event, always be sure to check the following:

• Are they insured? It is important for anyone entertaining an audience, especially in someones home, that the performer is insured.
• Is the performer a member of any professional organizations? Professional organizations set standards for their members. Someone who takes pride in what they do should be able to have a professional organizations seal on their website
• See a performance. You want to see a clip or two of who you are looking at in action. Look and listen. Do you hear audience reactions, or are they performing for just the camera?
• Does the performer have testimonials? Always find out what others have to say about the performer. Written testimonials are great, but video is awesome.
• Most importantly, know who you are getting. Always try to hire your entertainer directly. A professional entertainer can be reached directly. Not only will you know who will be knocking on your door, you know you are getting their best price.
