The Punch Pinata Party Prize Game

Pinata's are fun, but not everyone wants to give kids a bat to swing around hoping they break into something. Sometimes its not the candy filled cartoon character that gets broken into first.

The Punch Pinata is a fun new alternative that is rising in popularity. Its straight out of TV's The Price Is Right. A wall of paper circles is presented, each with a different prize behind it. One at a time your guests take turns punching through the circles to retrieve their prize.


Here is a video showing the basic construction of the punch pinata to give you an idea of how simple it is to make. I have also compiled a Pinterest board to give you ideas for your punch pinata.

This is a great activity because every child will have the opportunity to produce their own prize, as opposed to the traditional pinata where it comes down to one final child busting it open.
